Memory chips manufacturer Hynix has shown single 16GB memory module at IDF 2008. Hynix is at IDF demonstrating its next-gen R-DIMMs, including 8GB and 16GB DDR3 memory modules.Now don’t get mad, because these are for servers & workstations. Hynix has earlier used the Meta-Ram DDR2. The new concept is codenamed HMT31GR7AER4C-GC and HMT32GR7AER4C-GD for 8GB & 16GB modules & capable of providing highest bandwidth.
